Foreign Language Classes

Language Matters, Inc. offers two types of foreign language courses.

The "Fast Track " Course

Our "Fast Track" approach is an intense, 8 to 12 week course designed to encourage interaction with others, with an emphasis on enjoying the opportunity to learn a useful language. It is a cost effective method to teach a foreign language for the work place. Each course is adapted to the different requirements for each business.

Benefits of the "Fast Track" Course:

  • Interaction between management and staff
  • Ability to extract information
  • Identify and discuss products
  • Ability to explain services
  • Identify the needs of client or employee
  • Ability to give instructions to employees
  • Open the door and encourage further language studies

The "Fast Track" course focuses on the words and phases required to operate the business and will not result in the ability to generate an on-going conversation.

The "Immersion" Course

For individuals wanting to become fluent in a foreign language, Language Matters, Inc. offers the “Immersion” method. It is the fastest and most effective way to teach fluency in a second language. We customize each program to meet the needs of each client. Our programs include the vocabulary and survival phrases immediately functional for your associates. We focus on the vocabulary of your industry to encourage the adult student to use the new sound of their new language.

Our classes are currently available only in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area.

The benefits of learning a foreign language are far reaching:

Employers

As associate diversity becomes a more important issue in each and every work place, a variety of experience and perspectives become available to today's managers. The most common challenge to tapping into this resource is a lack of effective communication. Talented and willing workers are right under our noses, but in order to realize their true potential we must be able to speak with and listen to them openly.

  • Improve customer service and production
  • Enhance the company's ability to keep employees informed
  • Decrease accidents and mistakes
  • Increase confidence and improve relationships
  • Increase promote-ability (Training up) of employees

Business

As diversity grows in your surrounding community a common challenge to business owners becomes how to effectively communicate with your customers, as well as how to successfully promote your products and/or services.

  • Improve customer service and increase customer loyalty
  • Enhance the company's ability to keep customers informed
  • Improve community image and public relations
  • Increase revenue
